Ambre Papier
"Reimagining the scent of “Papier d’Arménie”, inspired by an Armenian tradition where benzoin resin is burned to fragrance interiors. This interpretation reveals the beauty of this raw material with elegance and contrast. For me, it's a tribute to heritage and the timeless allure of tradition." - Véronique Le Bihan
A composition centred around Siam benzoin, a rare and precious raw material with many facets.
In AMBRE PAPIER, perfumer Céline Perdriel creates an olfactory tableau of contrasts, balancing strength and softness.
After a fresh and spicy opening with black pepper and red mandarin, the dark, leathery notes of saffron emerge, evoking a fiery, almost electric warmth.
The benzoin then unfolds its round, smooth, and vanilla-like facets, enhanced by the elegance and depth of Haitian vetiver.
