Báinín
Ultimate comfort. Exquisite softness. Surprising freshness. A scent as light as air, Báinín unfurls like the softest strands of creamy-white wool, capturing the pure innocence and exquisite plushness of this timeless material.
A captivating encounter between freshness and warmth, tinged with a coastal breath of golden gorse, dew-kissed herbs, a cloudburst - and then the delicate scent of rain on warm earth.
Báinín takes its name from the homespun wool that's traditionally knitted through Aran jumpers and woven through the tweed of the collarless jackets worn for generations by Aran fishermen. Pronounced ‘bawneen’, it translates to ‘little white’ in English, after the ivory-coloured skeins of wool.
