Fig Tree Candle

Inspired by local folklore surrounding a fig tree that grows partially submerged in Galway's famous River Corrib. This fig tree is bound to the ancient Franciscan Abbey that sits on a nearby riverbank. Legend has it that a Franciscan friar brought the seed back to Ireland from Bethlehem after serving on a mission as a ‘Custos' for the Holy Land. Ripened fig trees perfume the warm summer air with their green and milky sap. With blonde woods, plummy tones and golden-amber facets.

Candle weighs 280g with burn time 55-60 hours.
