Spell 125
In the lexicon of magic, perfume is the greatest spell of all.
The longest spell in the ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead, Spell 125 covers the ceremonial process of crossing the underworld to reach the afterlife, including the famous weighing of the heart ceremony, where only a feather-light heart would pass the Gods' test.
Liz made her perfumery debut with Anubis, that dark and bewitching tribute to the jackal-headed god Anubis, guardian of the tombs and desert cemeteries. While Spell 125 steps away from the scorched tar notes that can be found in Anubis, it follows the concept from Papillon's first perfume and brings the wheel full circle.
Liz sourced arcane and precious ingredients: green frankincense purifies and elevates. Precious woods from the old world and the new combine with white ambergris to conjure a dark rich mystery.
This is a necromantic enchanter’s fragrance that propels your body into ecstasy and your heart into the heavens.
Top Notes: Ylang, Black Hemlock
